To the PhD students at the Max Planck Law Institutes:
1st Max Planck Young Legal Scholars' Meeting
Dear fellow PhD students,
We cordially invite PhD students who are conducting research at a Max Planck law institute to participate in a joint workshop at the MPI for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. The 1st Max Planck Young Legal Scholars' Meeting will take place on
23 and 24 April 2015.
The workshop will give you an opportunity to meet other PhD students, benefit from their feedback and explore common ground for future joint undertakings. We hope the workshop can contribute to foster the exchange between the Max Planck law institutes at PhD level.
You are invited to present current work, be it your PhD thesis, a part of it, a side project or even an early idea. Broadly speaking, whatever you think your fellow PhD students can give you helpful feedback on. As we approach law from different directions, the workshop would benefit from you making your own methodological approach particularly salient. Presentations will take from 30 to 45 minutes including discussions (depending on the final number of presentations). Presentations should be in English.
Please register by 15 March via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, stating whether you would like to present and the title of your presentation. We are happy to welcome a total of 30 participants. Priority will be given to those willing to present. There will be no participation fee.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Bonn!
