Description
The aim of this course is to read, understand, and discuss recent empirical contributions in Public Economics. We will focus on studies that address behavioral responses of individuals to taxation and the institutional framework which shapes individual behavior. We will consider tax evasion/avoidance and different strategies to enforce compliance. The course will also cover recent evidence on tax salience effects.
