The international graduate school on Behavioral Economics and Economic Design serves as an intellectual bridge linking the three research groups at the MPI for Behavioral Economics — Experimental Economics (led by Matthias Sutter since 2017: Research Description), Economic Design and Behavior (led by Axel Ockenfels since 2023: Research Description) and Behavioral Economics (led by Sebastian Schneider since 2024: Research Description) – with internationally leading and recognized cooperation partners, i.e., the University of Cologne, Adenauer School of Government, Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute, Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen (NHH), University of California at San Diego, University of Zurich, and University of Chicago.
