Short Bio:

Jens Frankenreiter is a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods. Currently, he is also a Visiting Associate Professor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law. His research interests include judges, courts, and procedure as well as antitrust, IP, and technology law. Much of his works uses quantitative methods and other computational tools such as text analysis and machine learning. 

Frankenreiter studied law at the universities of Bonn and Munich and at Harvard Law School. He holds a doctorate from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). Before joining Max Planck Bonn, he worked as an attorney at RAUE LLP in Berlin, Germany, advising startups and investors on corporate and venture capital law.
