August 07, 2020

After completing his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in the Alpine city of Trento, Eugenio started his PhD in economics at the MPI for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn and the University of Cologne in September 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Bettina Rockenbach and Prof. Christoph Engel, within the program of the International Max Planck Research School on Adapting Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World (IMPRS Uncertainty). His research focus is on behavioral and experimental economics. In particular, he is interested in the role of motivated beliefs, self-image and social-image concerns, and norms in economic decisions. After having earned his PhD degree on 14 July 2020, he will join the Groupe d'Analyse et de Théorie Economique (GATE) in Lyon as a postdoc in September 2020. There, he will focus on the study of moral and ethical behavior from both a fundamental and an applied perspective.
