Research Description
The Behavioral Economics Group combines innovative empirical approaches with field and laboratory experimental methods to study a wide range of socially relevant issues. Thematically, a major focus of the group‘s research is the importance of economic preferences for behavior in situations with economic implications. Areas of application are, for example, health economics, development economics, environmental economics, and finance. Methodologically, the group is focused on identifying or developing appropriate methods to break new ground in gaining empirical knowledge.
