Markt und Mittelstand: Eine Wette, die aufgehen könnte

Die Bundesregierung unter Minister Habeck führe ein Förderprogramm ein, das Industrieunternehmen durch Klimaschutzverträge unterstütze. Diese würden über Auktionen vergeben werden, um effizientes CO2-Sparen zu belohnen und Bürokratie zu minimieren. Das Lob für die Idee gebühre dabei nicht Habeck und seinem Team, sondern den Wissenschaftlern im Beirat rund um Klaus Schmidt, Axel Ockenfels und Achim Wambach, da ursprünglich keine Auktion vorgesehen worden wäre, aber Habeck am Ende auf die Experten gehört habe.

Das Handelsblatt kommentiert die Klimaschutzverträge für die Industrie: "Der Staat sollte viel häufiger auf die Wissenschaft hören. Erst hatte das Wirtschaftsministerium keine Auktion vorgesehen. Doch die Auktionsjünger Klaus Schmidt, Axel Ockenfels und Achim Wambach aus dem Ministeriumsbeirat intervenierten. Die drei Ökonomen raten seit Jahren, dass der Staat häufiger auf Versteigerungen setzt. Das Wirtschaftsministerium nahm den Rat an.
